Pino Signoretto

Pino is the oldest of 8, and for economical reasons started working in the factory when he was 9. He was so fascinated by the glass and it's world, that from that point on, glass became his reason for life. Pino is a lover of nature, common people and their habits and cultures. He grew up under the school of the great master Barbini... and believes that in order to become a master, one needs the ability and understanding to make anything...i.e. blown, solid...etc. He loves the challenge with his self and with the glass as a material. He enjoys thinking about what he will do in the future withoutknowing what his future is.

Amber Hauch

Amber started working glass in 1989 in S.F. California, and from that day it has been the passion of her life. Her work tends to be figurative and narrative, inspired mostly by antique cultures, religion and philosophy. After meeting Pino at the Pilchick glass school in WA, she has had the great opportunity to study with him since 1991. She is one of the only females, and is the only foreigner to have worked this close, and for this long next to Pino in his studio in Murano. She works as an assistant and a designer to Signoretto and her work is shown internationally.
